Do I need to purchase a violin to learn the instrument?
The Academy offers violins for student lessons (for your convenience, students can use one of ours at their first lesson). But to practice at home, you will need a violin. Thanks to our teachers’ suggestions you can find a variety of instruments appropriate for beginners.

Our violin teachers can teach a wide variety of genres.The violin is normally associated with classical and folk music, but our violin teachers can teach every genre from pop to jazz and even some fiddle! Our students spend time each week working on technical skills to improve their sound quality and into- nation, but also have their favorite songs incorporated into the lessons so they finish with their favorite piece. Our violin teachers, through their care and expertise, will certainly nurture any student’s love of the violin.

We teach all styles from classical, rock, pop, jazz, country, and blues.
How qualified are your violin instructors?
Our violin and music instructors have received their education from the most prestigious institutions of the United Kingdom and abroad. Many have toured Europe, the US and Asia, and bring over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience to your lessons. In fact, our founder and director Gabriele Baldocci is one of the world’s leading pianists, having collaborated with piano legend Martha Argerich and currently enjoying a recognised international career as a professor and performer. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly, and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level.
